DOG WALKING
We offer the options below to get your furry friend some exercise and fun time outside!
WALKING TRAINING
Walking training allow us to work on your dog's loose leash walking skills or reactivity several times a week while you are at work! This type of training leaves most of the work to us; your dog learns directly from a pro so you don't feel the stress of adding more items to your daily "to do" list (plus your dog gets an extra potty break during the day)! Please contact us for more information.
We require a minimum of 3 days/week for walking training. To encourage investment in the process, discounts are available for commitments of 3+ weeks.
$135/hour for walking training
$185 for initial consultation
Solo dog walks
For dogs who are not reactive, we will schedule occasional walks as our schedule allows. Please contact us for more information and scheduling!
Reactive dog
SOLO WALKS
Lauren has a special place in her heart for reactive dogs who have trouble getting along with other pups or people! She knows how hard it can be on families who take on these dogs, and is dedicated to providing the dogs with the exercise and mental stimulation they deserve - and giving their humans peace of mind.
Lauren has been working with all kinds of reactive dogs and their people for years; she has the experience and skills necessary to keep these dogs happy and safe.
We offer regular (weekly) 1 hour walks specifically for reactive dogs, but we will sometimes schedule shorter walks as our schedule allows.
$135 per 60 minute solo walk. Discounts available for multiple walks per week!**
“Lauren is honestly the best dog walker out there. I’m so lucky to have her work with Barnaby, she is a gem!”
GROUP DOG WALKS
WE ARE NOT CURRENTLY ACCEPTING GROUP WALK CLIENTS.
Lauren offers so much more than just a walk in the park! For over three years she has provided the San Francisco dog community with a truly unique dog walking service:
Lauren walks dogs who may be excluded from typical group walks due to circumstances or personality traits beyond their control. She accepts pups who may have trouble dealing with their anxiety, fear, hyper-excitement, and/or general discomfort around strange people and other dogs. Some of her pups get overwhelmed in a large group setting or need more attention than they could receive from a walker wrangling eight dogs at a time. And sometimes pup parents just want their dog walked by a trained professional who can reinforce good manners!
“Lauren has been walking Mojo for over a year now and we couldn’t be happier! Mojo’s confidence has grown significantly with Lauren’s support. She really ‘gets’ him and understands his unique personality and needs. She’s extremely reliable and communicative - we trust her completely and would absolutely recommend Lauren anytime!”
Lauren’s walking groups never have more than 4 dogs at a time, and are carefully selected to ensure that each dog is comfortable. She categorically avoids dog parks and busy streets and takes her groups to lesser-known parks and trails, limiting contact with other people and dogs. These calm environments decrease stress on Lauren’s dogs and enable her to give them the caring attention and management they deserve.
Pup parents love Lauren's walks: their dog gets a break from being alone all day, and they love coming home to a happy, tired dog!
Each walk includes pickup, drop-off, and at least one hour of paws on the ground time.
Monthly packages start at $610.*
*we require a minimum of 3 walks/week; interruption of the regular group dynamic increases stress for all the dogs and we are dedicated to keeping your pups happy and safe!
